July 25, 1998 Board of Director's meeting

Tony Larvie called the meeting to order at 12 noon. Those not

present were Mike Corrigan, Mary Stack and Dennis Obert.

Treasure report by Scott. Checking dropped 90.00 dollars from the

newsletter expense, and received some money in from Traveling

Trophy. Other than that it stayed the same. Dave Lehto made a

motion to accept the treasure report.

Old Business: Letter from the Bow hunters. At the last meeting

in Riverton it was discussed the concern with muzzleoading and

bow hunting seasons being the same, and the long ranges of the in-

line muzzleloaders. It was decided at that meeting that Travis and

Mike would compose a Position statement. Mike read the letter to

us, which was very good. Dave Lehto made a motion to accept the

letter and send a copy to the Game and Fish, Bow hunters of

Wyoming and the Casper Star Tribune. Charlie Stickney seconded.

Passed.

New Business: Tony had information from Doc Bob about the

Game and Fish event in Casper on Sept 11,12 and 13. They are

going to have all kinds of displays and shooting events. Was

looking for volunteers to help with loading, shooting and safety

with muzzleloaders at this event. It was decided to tell Doc Bob to

try to get local volunteers from Casper and Glenrock if possible

and try to get it in the State newsletter in case someone would like

to volunteer.

Also Mike Corrigan was approached by Mary Scott to sponsor a

trophy for the Wyo. Outfitters Association. After a small amount

of discussion, Dave Lehto made a motion not to sponsor a trophy.

Charlie seconded. Passed Charlie made a motion to adjourn.
